The joy I find in choosing just the right fabrics, piecing them together, and seeing a project come to life is something I want to pass on. Each item I make and share is meant to offer you the same sense of fulfilment and delight I feel in their making.

I really enjoy the fabric selection process, playing with different layouts and colour options to try produce the best contrast or complements in colours for the overall look of the item. I love using a variety of Kiwiana fabrics in my handmade gift items. These unique designs make a thoughtful present to take overseas, giving your friends or family a special reminder of Aotearoa and the beauty of home.
I follow traditional quilting techniques while allowing room for modern creativity, so each item has its own unique style and personality. Quilting has taught me patience and attention to detail. Small, careful decisions—choosing the right thread or ensuring a tidy binding—add up to a piece that lasts.

My quilting story began when my parents learned to quilt. At 16, I worked in a lovely local quilt shop and soon discovered my passion for thread, fabric, and design. Sewing has become a relaxing and enjoyable, and at times, somewhat (healthily) obsessive part of my life.
Whether you’re experienced or a beginner, taking time for quilting is rewarding and meaningful. Quilting is more than making something attractive; it’s about taking a break from daily routines, focusing on each step, and watching a project grow beneath your hands.
